Well, we are on a ten-week pace here between books. Are you keeping up? I am happy to announce that Lunam Lupus, the fifth book in the Quiet Order Series, is available on Amazon in paperback or ebook. Here is a link:

So, where are we heading in this one? Let’s do a recap of where we have been:

Book 1: The Quiet Order – The crew of the Kronus started in Germania/Holy Roman Empire and established Klugstadt.

Book 2: In Timely Secrets – Our groups headed to Spain and Portu (Modern-day Portugal) to address the tyranny of the Inquisitions.

Book 3: Pirates and Spies – This one went to Venetetzia to battle Barbarossa’s armada in the Adriatic.

Book 4: The Speech – Time to head East to Russia and the rise of the Muscovite Empire.

Now we arrive at Book 5 (Hey, this rhymes!): Lunam Lupus. We are thrust back to Venetzia, only this time the fight is on land.

Each of these books has a unique vibe, and I would say this one is the darkest book in the series. During a wedding in Venetzia, a young boy goes missing, only for the group to discover his mangled body deep in the forest surrounding Cardenzo. Though it initially looked like the work of wild wolves, The Quiet Order realizes something far more sinister is going on. They must solve this mystery and uncover the dark secrets of what is really happening outside of town.

If anyone is wondering, I already have the cover for Book 6 completed, and it looks amazing. I wonder where we are going for the final book in the series? I guess you will have to stay tuned and find out. I expect to have this one for purchase before Christmas, making this a perfect series to binge in between watching Elf, It’s a Wonderful Life, and The Little Drummer Boy. If anyone is wondering, yes, I’m sad that the series has come to an end. Still, I’m excited to share my family of characters and stories with you. I pray you will fall in love with them, as I have.

I’d be remiss not to point out that Chynna T. completed the audiobook for Pirates and Spies a few weeks ago (It is also available on Amazon and/or Audible). She continues to be so amazing. If you are more of an audiobook person, please head over there and enjoy another excellent offering. I promise the remaining three books are also coming on Audible as well.

I have one more book arriving soon, but it is a radical departure from the light-hearted Quiet Order Series. I can’t wait to tell you about that one, too. I already have the cover done (in fact, it is ahead of Book 6 in the production cycle), and it looks so amazing. Keep checking in, and I will share more when I get the opportunity.

I hope you are having a great week!

-Doug
